Master 100-Ton License

This license is good for boats of less than 100 gross tons issued at  25, 50, or 100 gross Gross tons. This license is most appropriate for operating small passenger vessels that carry more than 6 passengers and are periodically inspected by the USCG. Typical vessels include charter boats, head boats, small ferries, dinner boats, and whale-watching vessels.

Master License

A master license is perfect for boats of less than 100 gross register tons and is issued to those who operate Coast Guard inspected vehicles. It is also good for uninspected vessels with 6 or fewer paying passengers.

Master Inland License

  • Applicable to Boats of 25, 50, or 100 Gross Tons
  • Applied to Inspected and Uninspected Inland Vessels
  • Minimum Age of 19
  • US Citizenship Required
  • 360Total Days of Driving Practice (At Least 90 of Those Days Must Have Taken Place in the Last 3 Years)

Master Near Coastal License

  • Applicable to Boats of 25, 50, or 100 Gross Tons
  • Captain’s License Good for Up to 100 Miles from Shore
  • Applied to Inspected Inland Vessels
  • Minimum Age of 19 and US Citizenship Required
  • 720 Total Days of Driving Practice (At Least 90 of Those Days Must Have Taken
    Place in the Last 3 Years
  • 360 of those in Near Coastal Waters.

Drug Testing

We offer Panel 5 drug testing services with chain of custody, CPR, and first aid certifications as well. These certifications are all performed at the same date and location as your course, so you will not have to make any bothersome schedule adjustments. Once you have completed the course, we will hand your certificate! You are then ready to file your application with the USCG.
